Blank Dogs is mainly a one-man recording project by songwriter Mike Sniper from Brooklyn, NY. Since 2006 he's released several dozen LP's, EP's and singles as well as appeared on many compilations. Live, Blank Dogs is a three-piece band featuring Pamela Gavano-Coolbaugh and Craig Mileski. The music could be described as dark-pop with cold synth lines, surfy guitar hooks and angular basslines. Blank Dogs has released records on such distinguished labels as In The Red, Woodsist, Troubleman, Sacred Bones and his own Captured Tracks imprint.
